Terrapins in cardiff/wales/uk watch

    terrapins Terrapins TERRAPINS i cant seem to find them before you say there not native to the uk there an introduced Species and some how there really common in the uk where do i find them?

    Your best bet is a zoo or a pet shop. Alternatively there are invasive species sighting maps available online.

    I'm not sure they are really all that common in the UK. Sure the are here but they are not adapted to the UK's climate, so have a very high mortality rate in the wild. They are not likely to be out and about in winter, any that have survived so far are probably in hibernation.
