Hi guys, I'm currently 7 weeks in to talking/dating a guy non-seriously and non-monogamously (on his end) and feel like I want to make it exclusive, but he has commitment issues. Is it normal after this long to feel this way, or am I being pushy?

How long did you and your partner take to become exclusive and official?

It was about 3 or so weeks before we made things official. Different couples move at different paces.

It depends on whether his commitment issues means he just wants to play the field and not worry about sticking to one girl. I think it's fine to start thinking about exclusivity at the 2 month mark. What kind of issues does he have?

2 dates in and 2 weeks talking. I'm not one for casual dating and neither is he.

Leave it there, if he doesn’t like you by now and want to take it further its likely he never will

Well him and his ex, who finished last October, ended because his ex was very controlling for a long time towards the end of the relationship, and before that relationship he had basically been in and out of them for 2 years solidly, so now says he wants the time to be able to have “no agenda” on nights out, whatever that means, and I just don’t know what to think. I really like him and from what I can make out from signals and conversation, he likes me back (otherwise why would he still be around?), but it’s getting to the point now where he is still on Tinder and stuff and it just gets to me a little bit.

He has already told you he is not interested in serious so leave him. Dont waste your time it's been long enough.
