I’m 32, married with 2 children. We live with my mil. We pay our share of the bills. When applying do I need to include my mil wages.
All our finances are completely separate, so we are lodgers.
My husband works full time and I work part time.

Also I will be working 9 less hours at least when I start my course. Is that taken into account when I apply for the maintanace grant, as I’m assuming I give this last years wages of mine and my husbands.

    Thanks

    Hi Claire,

If you are over 25 years old and married we would only assess your Student Finance on your husbands income. If you are applying for 2018/19 academic year we would assess this on 2016/17 tax year.
We would not take your part time income into consideration when assessing your funding as you are the student.

    Thanks

    Louise
