# Rearranging the formula help watch

1. Does anyone know how to work this out?

Rearrange this formula to give a in terms of b:

4b=square root of (a-3)/5
2. I assume that everything is under the square root so your first step would be to square both sides. Then I would multiply both sides by 5 to get rid of the fraction. This will leave you with xb^2 = a-3. Then add 3 to both sides to get b in terms of a
