I’ve gone through my ASTs, Selection interview, and medical and passed all easily, however this was to join as a General Technician (Electrical), after finding out the Avionics branch is back open (which is what I wanted to join as originally) I was wondering if I’m still able to change my trade once I’ve passed my fitness in April?
    Any replies are appreciated thanks.

I’d speak to your AFCO! I’d imagine it would be subject to whether you scored enough at AST and you’ll probably need to do another interview

Do this now and don't leave it too late! I started RAF Halton with my second choice trade and regretted it. I'm now having to do the application process again from the interviews.

Moral of the story, get your first choice if you can as ultimately it was your first choice for a reason
