Hey guys I’ve come up with the basic idea of a kidnapping for my short film roughly 5-6 mins long and I was just wondering if anyone could help me come up with a twist and some way the protagonist escapes

Someone walking through a door, and a basic chase sequence, are two of the first things students do or used to do when learning at college how to make films. Things have probably changed a lot since my wife had to do them! 😁
