In order to take admission in LLB Hons, and to excel my career in Law, I had requested SFE to accept my application for Tuition & Maintenance
    Loan.

In response I have received the following message:

    Quote:
As you are studying for a qualification that is equivalent to or lower
than a qualification you already have, you’re not eligible for some
aspects of student finance. You won’t be eligible to receive Fee
    Support,
Maintenance Loan, Maintenance Grant or Special Support Grant while
    studying on your new course.

You may still be eligible for other student finance such as Parental
Learning Allowance, Adult Dependants’ Grant, Childcare Grant or
    Disabled Students’ Allowance.

    Un-Quote:
Is there any way / option that I can get Fee Support so that I can
continue my education. I'm desperate to start, kindly guide / help me.

Thank you for the guidance & support.

If you already have an undergraduate degree then student finance will not fund you for an LLB as a second degree.

You would have to approach charities for funding or look for a commercial sponsor.

Why are you wanting to take an LLB - most people with a degree already would take a postgraduate conversion course - a Graduate Diploma in Law/Common Professional Examination (GDL/CPE)

Again these wouldn't be eligible for funding but they would only last for 1 year full time and a lot of universities offer part time versions so that you can study and work at the same time.

    Dear Friend,

Thank you for your precious advise. I have found of few universities who are offering GDL in June / September 2018. I'm interested in taking admission in Law
University, but again the problem is the Tuition Fee.

Can you provide me the names of scholarship / bursaries / loan lending companies, so that I can discuss with them the possibility of the loan.

Thank you for your support and co-operation.

    Best Regards

    Hi Zaim,

If you speak to the universities that you are looking at, they will be able to advise on bursaries and scholarships that may be available.

    Regards Rona
