Dare I say it but Spurs are the favourites now.

Wembley is a HUGE advantage for them. Only side I can see beating them there are Chelsea.
Yeah, agree there, although their smaller squad surely makes them need to rotate or increased risk of injury.

    I do agree though.

No one gives a **** about the FA Cup, even Arsenal can win it.
Pathetic individual, how can you turn your back on your team like that.

    Take a look at yourself.

Sky have United at 9/4 favourites to win the FA Cup after tonight's result.

I can see it happening, we only need 3 big games from this point and if we play well we have the best team left in the competition. We just can't afford any more mistakes!

Because we're the best team in Manchester, and the dynasty is inevitable.

We'll beat Arsenal and win another cup. Life will move on as we're habitual winners now.

Mate it's gonna be so funny if Arsenal win the league cup, since you converted that will be two trophies you've already lost haha

    This is our crisis.

PL and CL. Shows how big the gap has become when the worst part of our season is losing out on FA Cup.

As they say.. there's levels to this.

come on man, did you see the City fans chucking advertising boards onto the police yesterday? The players and manager involved in the afters? Aguero lashing out at a fan? They're such sore losers. Say what you want about Arsenal, they'll always have class and lose with dignity.

Lol. On the contrary, Man City are considering legal action against the Wigan fan.

How long was Di Canio’s ban for his push on the ref? That’s how long Pep’s should be.

It's a disgrace if Pep doesnt get charged for that, if Mourinho did that the FA would be all over it.

I can kind of get the aguero thing because you could say he felt threatened and was defending himself, (still shouldn't have lashed out though).

Pep should definitly get charged though.

Yeah Aguero’s off the hook. FA have said they aren’t going to charge him.

Pep’s a sore loser. Gets all riled up when his team don’t get a decision and all that. No wonder he’s bald.

BBC Sport running with the idea that Pogba isn't going to start.

So, if you were picking the formation/side to play tonight what would you go for?

Also if anyone knows anything about Sevillas likely strategy/teamsheets/dangermen/weaknesses please post up.

Since it's CL, and a midfield three would be Matic, Herrera and McTominay, I think we may as well drop McTominay and play another defender (especially away from home)

My preferred team would be a 5-3-2

    DDG
    Lindelof Bailly Jones
    Valencia Shaw
    Herrera Matic
    Mata
    Lukaku Sanchez

For me, this addresses a few issues. We've been frail defensively so another defender makes sense. Slot our best CB in the middle and Lindelof can do decent cover at RB if Valencia pushes forward.

We'd be short in CM anyway, even with a 3, so may as well put Matic deeper and let Herrera link with Mata.

Mata obviously plays far better in the centre

Sanchez for me hasn't played well on the wings, he has been far better playing centre-left. May as well try him ST alongside Lukaku. It means he can also run in behind, nulifying the need to play Jesse.

    Thoughts?

Also, inevitably we'll be starting Smalling anyway, so, lol.
