Advice on finding student house in second year in York

Hi
Myself and 4 flatmates want to live in a 5 bed house in second year, but have found that most of the 5 bed houses have already been snapped up. I'll admit, we left it too late, but have thoroughly searched estate agents, student accommodation agencies and anywhere else we can think of (Zoopla/gumtree). We are being advised to look for a 2 bed and 3 near near each other, which I guess we will have to do.

Can anyone advise on any other strategies?

Maybe try rightmove and check with the uni if they have a list of landlords or houses.
