Please help me. I’ve suffered a lot this year with mental health issues like depression and anxiety and it’s severely affected my studies. Is it possible to get A/A* grades in the remaining time I have left. I do history business and psychology. My mocks weren’t too good. They were DDE.

Yes, should still be possible as most people don't start revising till after the February half-term holidays. Use your time wisely ensure you are revising everyday and doing sufficient hours too in order to grasp the content and ensure you don't leave anything out as anything could come up in the exams! Good Luck

    Hi lola-may :hello:

We understand that this is quite a stressful time. Maybe try not to countdown to the actual exam too much sometimes this just stresses you out more than it needs to. You have plenty of time to pick up on revision and mocks are usually a good indicator of what needs to be worked on. Use your mock exams as feedback, sometimes this can be really useful.

PavvDhillon offers some great advice about using your time wisely. Make sure you are taking regular breaks as sometimes revising for hours on end makes it harder to retain knowledge. Some revision techniques that we find useful is the use of spider diagrams and colour coding.

There are also plenty of alternative options to get you on to the university course that you want should you not get the grades you wish for. For example you can do a 1 year Access to Higher Education course or maybe even picking up an EPQ for some extra UCAS points.

We hope this helps but of course if you have any further questions or concerns please do give us a shout.
