YOUR pictures of Exeter.

This post by Sephrenia really surprised me about how big the rooms were:
Sephrenia
A typical room in Cook/Llewellyn [Its not normally this tidy - I was up all night and got bored of working..]

The view from my bedroom window: [You barely notice the trains after a week or so!]

The kitchen - its not normally that much of a mess - I was making brownies...

The living room - Party last night - and theres a couple of people staying over so a few cushions have been nicked:p:

And because of that, I thought it would be very useful for everyone thinking of going to Exeter. I don't think any other uni forums have one of these.
Yes, I know most people will visit come post-offer open days... but I'm just really curious and want to know now what Exeter looks like, the pics on prospectus' are rubbish.

And bear in mind I'm on the cheapest rent [excluding Lafrowda standard]. Also I believe only a few Accomodation blocks are open for viewing on Open days - I believe it is Lafrowda, definatly Holland - got an email offering book vouchers to let people see your room :p: - and probably St Germans. They won't show you the off campus accommodation like Birks, or Cook/Llewellyn/Kingdom Mews, James Owen court etc.

[and looking at the pic has reminded me to water my plant...its probably dead by now...one of them got thrown away, the other in the kitchen is at home being resuscitated by my mum :p:

These are from when I randomly went to the Exeter campus for a look around last April.

And then we went to the sea!

And then to Dorset!

Shame I ended up in Kent, really.

And, for the most part, full of overly-rich, irritating rahs (though there are some lovely people there too, I'm sure). Same goes for Birks.

EDIT: ok, that post wasn't really related to the OP's question. But it is true.

I've got loads of campus photos - but they're all stuck on my phone. I'll buy a dongle and put them up!

Oh I love the view... would be so nice to sit out their with a nice cold cider, reading a book, in the sun. Or even a social bottle of wine (or two).
Although Seph's room is a lot bigger.

Just out of sight is the wardrobe which had two shelves and a really deep cupboard, so there was more than you can see in the pics. The only thing I really missed was drawers!

EDIT: Found another pic of my room, the bathroom is on the left behind the wardrobe.

and by the looks of it has much better heating - we have electrical heating, and huge radiator. Automatically heats the room to 21, and you can boost it for an hour to 24, and after the hour you can keep boosting it...

I think his room is bigger, as he has a double bed, and I only have a single, but there isn't all that much difference in floor space etc. And I'm paying about £70 less...

I think you might have a slightly bigger wardrobe, although mine is built in and you move the chest of drawers out of it, and it doubles the size!

Seph, is yours en suite or everyone gets their own sink?

Everyone gets their own sink regardless of the cost of rent

My room in Laffy:

My room in St G's:

I thought some Laffy Standard didn't have sinks...and it was a bit hit and miss on if you did or not...

Meh, all the ones I've seen have had sinks

romeosbitch's photos about cover it, I was in Enhanced too  I probably shouldn't post up the picture of the view from my room as it is one of the few that look out onto Lopes Hall! Most of them look out onto the car park...

I vaguely remember something from an Accomodation leaflet about it, I think it didn't say anything about standard accommodation having sinks, but it did say enhanced all had sinks..or something like that...
