One of the six different rooms I stayed in (a very nice one):
And this is right on your doorstep:
Exeter is a wonderful place with lots of beautiful places to explore. Just try to avoid the students, because they are for the most part a bunch of stuck up, self-important posers.
To be honest, some of my best times in Exeter were spent exploring the countryside or cycling down the River Exe to the beach on my own. It sure beats your average student night out in Warehouse or Arena.
Wow, that is an amazing view. If only Holland had balconies, I probably would have went to live there!
Oh, but it does! About half the rooms have balconies - although to be honest you don't need them. I just had "french doors" and having them open in the summer was an absolute joy
I miss my room....
kayzy
i think i must be the only person in Exeter that doesn't care about views
I know... it was difficult to believe it when I got there! My friends used to come to my room when there were thunderstorms, demanding to be let it and watch it from the window...
I could actually see my room from the train station as well, so I'd wave to it as my train home went past
It's the one sort of on the little curve that the road towards Harrison takes? Basically, I'd walk past PCC every day and then go left at the first turning, past the bus-stop and the side of the biosciences building towards the back of Amory (past Laver and Harrison). It was at the turning (where the road curved). There were loads of those big plants that look like green elephants' ears....
If anyone would like some pictures of Lafrowda then just quote me here and ask. I have some that I'd be happy to post up, but am not going to go to the effort unless someone specifically asks

Yes please. I'll be choosing it based on what I've heard hear about social life, won't be visiting it
