I am currently doing my GCSE’s and recently a group of people promoting NCS came into school. It sounded great and I signed up, however I’m unsure of what to do. I’m an air cadet and was accepted for a place on the RIAT camp ( royal international air tattoo) which I signed up for before NCS. I don’t know what to do as we had a bit of trouble getting into NCS but now I’m on the date I want with my friends, but I won’t get another chance to go on this camp at cadets, especially because everyone is celebrating 100 years of the RAF so it will be very special. Should I go on the shorter camp at cadets or the longer course with NCS?

Hard to say - both would probably be enjoyable. Whatever you decide, just remember that in the real world, no one cares about NCS. It is really aimed at young people who don't get out at all, rather than people who already do stuff e.g. cadets.

Personally I would go on the cadet camp as that is what you committed to first, but that is just me.
