I'm stuck between 5 subjects; Health and Social Care, History, English Language, Psychology and Sociology. I need to narrow this down to three...what subjects would you say are the best to take? I would like to become a primary school teacher if that is any help. Thank you!

I would say History is a good choice as it is fascilitating, and it’s good to keep your options open. However to have the perfect a levels for your future career I would say do English language, sociology and one of the others that you enjoy.

A few of my friends are going on to do teaching and all of them take English language, it's a really good base to have and the essay writing skills you gain is transferable to other a levels, I take sociology and the two really complement each other. I would say do 3 a levels rather than a btech (health and social care). But it's completely up to you to choose what you're going to be happy studying for 2 years!
