My question is about receiving discretionary payments during a suspension.

I had to suspend for a year.

I received support initially due to my illness.

I then got a job and worked for a few months but my illness came back more severely.

The financial advisor at my university said that it may be possible to apply for discretionary payments from Student Finance England.

Could this be possible?

Hi Katie_Ariana,

I'm sorry to hear about the illness coming back.

I just need to confirm a couple of details if that's alright.

When did you suspend the course initially?

Thank you,

John.
