I am currently 17 in 6th form and I work in a supermarket too part time. However I just find everyday life so boring and the only thing I look forward to is my driving lessons and going to work. The only reason I like work is because I have become like best friends with one of my work mates and we just gossip every 10 minutes ahaha. I've kind of had a crush on him for months but he is straight and has a gf so I don't have much chance, but we are so close. Apart from that there is literally nothing I look forward to in life. A levels are so hard and I am predicted AAA which is just unrealistic considering I do quite hard subjects and I don't really hang out with any friends from school because they are boring. People say at my age I should be having the time of my life but I'm just not

I’ve been in a similar place, I don’t know your full circumstances of family or other struggles but something I’m trying to do currently, since I felt bored with my life is to try as many things as possible and to meet people who have more knowledge and experience than I currently have. The reason why is to find out what I’m passionate about and to work on surrounding myself with good people who will be supportive and helpful to me once I find something I love. A few things I’ve tried that I’m hoping may help you is to reverse engineer yourself and what your interests are, I don’t know if you have student groups or anything like that, or if meetup.com is a big thing there, but once you have a handful of stuff you think Is cool you start doing. Go to meet people, dm people who are doing things you think are cool on instagram, hop into a twitter conversation. Whatever it is you want to do deep down; the information is only a google search away. Try and get so busy learning and doing something you love that this question never crosses your mind. I'm still trying to figure things out too as i'm sure a lot of others are too, but it's worth trying something y'know.
