I want, just for a day, to lie in a field with flowers and take photos to capture the beauty of it all. As cheesy as this sounds, I just want to experience some peace for once because right now, things are really, really hard at home and I’m kind of struggling to cope with it all. Does anyone know any beautiful fields in England, preferably close to London (if it’s even possible for such beauty to be near such an urbanised city).
    Thank you xx

Wimbledon Park is pretty nice if you're willing to make the extra travel.

Lol. I don’t know of fields full of flowers as such, and extremely unlikely to find such public fields, let alone in winter. But you can go to Highgate/Kenwood and/or Kew Gardens. I’m sure you can find foresty or secluded bits there to just lie down and forget your worries

A real shame. Not going to lie, OP has made it seem tempting to just go out into the woods somewhere and roll around to forget all about society :dong:

What's more ironic Planta is you scared the OP off as they deleted their account. 😂.

My first thought was that mush in Gladiator walking through Elysium.

The actual question is a lot less dramatic.
