I have completed my IOP a few days back and I have worked incredibly hard on it. Many of my classmates prior to my presentation highly praised my ideas and unique execution. I love presenting and especially have a passion for English. Unfortunately, I went over time by two minutes and I was wondering how many points that would shave off of my score. I aim for a 7 on my IOP, and I would like to know if I still have a shot at it.

Ask the teacher or look up the rules. They should be able to tell you the criteria and any penalties for going over. How long was the time allowed? If it was 10% then I doubt they care. If its internally assessed they might have more leniency. Its part of the reason your practice though, so you know you dont go over.
