I am stuck in what to take at A Level. I am interested in a career in psychology and I am 100% taking that. However, along side it I don't know whether to take English Literature, Government and Politics or Philosophy. I need to take two of the three listed (alongside psychology) what would be the most useful?

Which ones are you most interested in and will get the best grades in?
EL is a strong facilitating subject, but the other two are ok.

Check uni entrance requirements for psychology to see your A levels will meet them.

Then id go for grades and enjoyment.

Look up the specifications r ask the teacher what you will be studying to see what interests you.

Definitely English Lit as it is well respected and will help you a lot with psychology. The other two are quite samey, so if you are picking out of those two it doesn't really matter, just choose the one you think you will enjoy the most. I think that Maths or one of the sciences (biology maybe) would be more beneficial as it shows you have a wide range of skills and may make you more desirable. Good luck

Biology would be the most useful subject if you’re pursuing psychology
