I hated it, but my group all knew each other so I had trouble breaking in. The second week was good, but the activities were dull. The third week was great because I got to go home, and the activities were interesting and I really clicked with my group then. All depends on your group and who you do your social project with, and your personality. I personally always take a while to get used to change so it was a bit **** for me for the first 2 weeks

I enjoyed it when I did it but it does depend on your group and what locations you go to because my year we went to a new activity centre that they’d never used before and it was very limited on what activities they had available whereas other years went to PGL in Devon and had far more activities to do then we did. In the second week we were camping which was good because everyone had more freedom rather than the last two years where they’ve been at a university where they’ve been much more limited on what they can do.
I will be back helping for my 3rd year this summer on week 2 at the uni so it can’t have been that bad
