    Hi,
I'm thinking of applying for this course but wanted to hear from students on this course how much maths it involves.
I am dyslexic and can struggle with numbers, and I appreciate that traditional economics courses involves LOTS of calculations, but as this involves other subject areas I wanted to get an idea of how maths heavy it would be.
    Thanks

    Hi emily.rebecca

Great to hear you're thinking of studying at Loughborough
I think the best thing to do would be to get in touch with the department directly. You can e-mail [email protected] - the lady is called Charlotte and she'll be able to help you - or put you in touch with someone appropriate who can discuss your concerns.

Might be worth noting that we have excellent support in place for dyslexic students - see here http://www.lboro.ac.uk/services/cds/dyslexia/help/ and we also have Mathematics Learning Support Centre http://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/mlsc/ - so you would have help if you needed it.

If you have other questions, have a look on our forum here https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=125 or just ask - we're always happy to help.

    Vicky
