Trying to figure out how to organise my revision for English lit, in particular Jane Eyre. Does anyone have any ideas regarding approaches on how to get started?

I did my GCSE last year, and what I did was I made flashcards with a quotation on one side, and something to help me remember the quotation on the other side. Eg: Q: "How does Jane describe herself?" A: "Poor, obscure, plain and little". I also chose the quotations to memorise based on practice essay plans I made. I tried to use the same quotations in lots of plans. If you want I can give you ideas of practice essay questions they could ask (provided that you're doing edexcel)
