As a Centrist I am conflicted between both the right and left adopting a lot of economic conservative views such as lower taxes for corporations, freer markets but I aslo am against privatisation of public services like the railway industry and the NHS but on the topic of benefits it is where I am sceptical on both sides approach to this matter.

Communism is a very far left wing ideology. Honestly, if you believe in a welfare state and egalitarianism, I'd say that automatically poises you into a very VERY comfortable left-wing territory. Your views don't seem to centre-left, but then again, I've not heard all of them so I may be wrong. Hell, you could turn out to be pro-life, but I doubt that.
I wouldn't really consider myself strongly left-wing as my views don't strongly align with typical liberal Guardian-esque views.

For example, I don't really agree with the government giving people large handouts as I believe this encourages people to adopt a defeatist mentality where they think they can't do anything for their selves.

I also believe in a less interventionist government.

I don't believe in censoring things just because they offend people.

I don't really agree with modern feminism either as I believe it is creating non-existent issues.

    Yeh fair enough.

Just one thing though, ins't the very idea of a welfare state to give people large handouts e.g. free healthcare, free housing etc.

    Isn't that rather a contradiction?

Traditional conservatism for the most part on social issuses, none of this flimsy 'conservatism' of the modern day and a more libertarian approach to the econmy although I have been having thouhghts about this recently

    Nope.
Libertarianism is originally a left wing ideology and is not the same as free marketism.

    In my understanding:

Libertarianism is about having a small state and upholding personal liberty.

Left wing is about the state intervening to (in theory) force greater equality, and certainly economically is more authoritarian than libertarian.

    Nope.

State intervention can be either right or left.

Libertarianism is traditionally a left wing ideology which the right nicked the name of and applied to free marketism.

Then please define what you mean by 'left-wing' and 'libertarianism', I think you are confused or trolling.

Socially i'm very libertarian. I don't think the state has any business in telling people what they can do with their own bodies.

Economically I believe in decentralisation, giving far more powers to workers and local communities than central government or big corporations.

Nah, you just don't really know what it means to be left wing. Wanna have your mind blown even more? I'm a free market socialist.

I go to an all girls school, so then environment is very pro feminism and pro left. I am centre, however would never admit it otherwise I would be hunted down.
I am very open and believe that both the left and the right have good ideas and have to exist together for society to truly work. HOWEVER I refuse to feed into identity politics and giving people oppression points. They believe a persons worth is based on how 'oppressed' they are, not on how much they contribute to society.
I’d say I’m probably centre-left but I’d identify with the Labour Party’s policy’s the most.

By libertarian, are you right wing or left wing? It seems we’ve seen a debate on left wing libertarianism actually existing

Lots of people claiming to libertarian.

I understand libertarianism is quite fashionable among a certain demographic, but I wonder how many are really libertarians and how many are fake libertarians who will happily suckle at the teat of the state when it suits them.

thats not a thing. a libertarian is its own thing. thats like saying youre a free market communist. libertarianism is inherently antileft no matter what way you look at it.
