so i'm in year 11 and about to take my gcses. i found a couple of english revision guides in a charity shop so i have those but things like revision guides and textbooks add up when buying them all so i'm wondering: can i get good grades in my gcses just going online and using class notes etc? also are there any subjects that are more necessary than others? i'm taking the core subjects (incl. triple science) and also art, textiles, geography and hsitory so yeah any tips would be great

yes, but they cna be handy.

For English if you cant afford the guide then just use Mr Bruff podcasts and videos.

Also dont forget to download exam papers and mark schemes.
