For reading/writing, learn your vocab! You can do this by making Quizlet revision sets, just copy+paste the vocab into sets and revise them. I'm not very good at explaining how to do this, but there's some videos on YouTube explaining what you need to do.
For listening, I'd recommend watching a TV show/film that you already know - but in French! It helps you get to know how the language sounds - this can help with speaking too, you can pick up colloquialisms and sound more natural. If TV shows/films aren't really your thing, just do what I do - binge watch some Cyprien videos on YouTube. They're fairly entertaining, plus his videos like 'Les Etats Unis' will have some familiar vocab.
For speaking, specifically, try to get to terms with tenses. This is quite annoying, but a lot of them sound very similar so you can get away with a few more mistakes whilst speaking, when you can't with something like writing! If you're still unsure, just learn set phrases, for example: "Je ne pense pas ce soit mon truc!" And try to get them into your speaking. Again, learn vocab with Quizlet. Most importantly: Practice. Pick a topic, and time how long you can talk about it, including as many tenses as possible. You could record some of your speaking to try and spot any mistakes when re-listening. Hope that at least some of this helps

for speaking, I wrote the first letter of each french word down in order on paper (about 5 at a time) then said them each 10 times over. Then I turned the sheet over and remembered them, adding 5 words at a time untill I eventually remembered the entire paragraph. My French teacher taught me this and I found it so useful! I'd reccomend it for speaking.Last edited by Assembly; 14-02-2018 at 20:02. Reason: TDA Post Edit
