You are going to have to use some initiative. Largest city by far in the country.

Hospitals, care homes, labs, GPS, anything connected to the delivery of healthcare.

    Hi there,

I have linked the main medicine work experience/volunteering thread and the TSR work exp wiki page:
    https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/sho...d.php?t=568666
    https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/uni...-at-university
Everyone is always very helpful on the main thread and there are often med students/doctors who are happy to answer questions. It is good to try and get work experience in primary (GP) and secondary (hospital) care. For GP experience, try talking to your own GP and ask for contacts or any surgeries they know that take students. You could also just send out letters to your nearest 20 GP practices and see if anything comes of it. Or phone up practices and ask, so at least you will have a yes or a no. For hospital experience, try phoning up or emails HR. Maybe look at volunteering programmes - if you volunteer in the hospital you can just go round asking for work experience. Make use of your contacts - I got my work experience through my friend’s dad, and my mum’s best friend’s brother-in-law! Ask around at school and see if anyones parent’s are doctors, or if anyone has done work experience and where/when/who with. I hope this helps

    Good advice above.

You might also want to try Guys and ST Thomas NHS Trust in London.
