Hello I’m thinking about applying to Edinburgh next year for French and Spanish and I was wondering if anyone can tell me about the types of things in the course. I’ve heard that for some subject (especially humanities) all students do is write essays and they don’t learn much. Is the teaching for modern languages at Edinburgh detailed and varied? Do you really feel like you’re learning and not just writing?
