I really want to study medicine or something science related at uni and I'm unsure which A levels to take. I am defiantly doing biology, Chemistry and Rs however i don't know about my 4th. I was considering physics however it isn't my strongest subject but i am also considering English Lit. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am currently in my first year at sixth form studying A Levels Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I would say not to worry about a 4th too much as we were advised to only take 3. In fact most of my college only do 3 and even some of those who started with 4 dropped one. This is probs due to them stopping AS level exams at the end of Year 12. Before, students did 4 AS levels then dropped one to do 3 A Levels in Year 13.
You could ask a teacher at your school or go to some open days at your nearby sixth forms to find out more?

Hope this was of any help to you ahah

    You don't need four a-levels.

Medicine requires Bio Chem Maths. You could talk a 4th if you reallllyy wanted to but its not advised. I chose to personally but its defo lots more work. Good luck!
