HI, I'm new to this and have 3 months till my GCSEs, the main subjects I struggle with are science and french, do you guys have any idea on what the best way is to revise for these subjects (mainly science) and how to keep my motivation up for revision because it is really boring at times and I'm just not bothered at times? Thanks for any help in advance

For science I didn’t like it either but what I did was use the CGP books, including the exercise book which has questions and do each page and the corresponding questions. Also for each page I made flash cards on the key info so for example one side would say “What are the parts of a cell?” And on the back would be the answer. You can make your own or you can download an app and make digital ones which u can use on the bus to school as the paper ones are easy to misplace. Finally, when you finish going through B1 or P1 or C1 or what have you, do a past paper. Don’t expect to do well the first time round but after doing a few you will spot patterns in the questions and the mark scheme. Don’t be generous and make more flash cards with the questions that come up most frequently.

By doing all of this you give yourself a structure and won’t feel like you’re all over the place. Do not take notes as it takes a long time and flash cards are quicker, easier and more effective.

    Finally, good luck!
