Got offers from my first 2 choices - can I reject the rest? watch

Hi, I'm a bit confused about the UCAS process. I have received offers from my top 2 choices, however I am still waiting to hear back from a couple of unis which I know I will not be putting as my firm or insurance. My question is, can I now withdraw my application for these unis, before I even hear from them, and go straight ahead with accepting the offers I have?

Don't wanna mess things up but I'm pretty sure this must be allowed, however the UCAS website is a little unclear.

    Thanks in advance

For now I’d still wait for all the unis to respond. After that, that’s when you can put your top two choices as your firm and insurance, whilst declining all the others.

When I was going through the UCAS process, I think the website didn’t let me accept offers until all the unis replied anyway 👍🏾

Update: I noticed UCAS updated the information on the website and does state it is possible to withdraw individual applications before you have heard back from the particular uni in question.

I have done this and so I am left with just my first two choices of uni. There is no option to select firm and insurance right now, I'm presuming I need to wait for the letters confirming my withdrawal for each uni I withdrew from (already had one).

Final update: Issue resolved, received confirmation of all uni withdrawals via UCAS Track and was able to select firm and insurance choices
