So I’ve had braces for nearly 4 years, started my plan when it was roughly 16 and was meant to get them off a year or so back. Been so caught up with work that I missed that oppointment and didn’t get them taken off. I turn 20 in a couple of weeks and I’m looking to get them taken off as it could do more damage to my teeth than good at this stage. Would I have to pay for the treatment to get them off if I started the treatment before I was 18?

Although I'm not 100% sure, my friend started his treatment before 18 and finished it aged 21 so I can't see why you'd have to pay for it to be removed.

But please don't be your own orthodontist - speak to them about it first.
