    Hello all

I'm Mokhtar Awwad , Eletrical Engineer from Egypt.

I'd like to get my master degree MSc from Huddersfield university , UK.
I'd a unconditional offer from the university for the course : Engineering Control Systems and Instrumentation MSc starts at Sep 2018 .

I got my Bsc from Egypt with GPA (2.5/4) ; IELTS score : 6.5 ; work experience : 6 years.
I applied to chevening but I got refused .

    Tuition fees : 15000 GBP
Housing and accommodation = 12200 GBP
    Total cost = 27200 GBP.

Is their any way to fund my master via scholarships or financial aid ?
Any advice regarding this issue will be appreciated .

    Thanks and best regards

    Hi Mokhtar,

I just need to ask a couple of questions in order to help you out there.

Do you currently live in the UK?

If so, how long have you lived in the UK and what is your residency status?

    Thank you,

    John.

    Hello John

    I'm currently not in UK.
    Hi Mokhtar,

Thanks very much for answering those questions.

Part of the criteria for being eligible for Student Finance is that you must be resident in the UK with a valid residential status for at least 3 years before the first day of the first academic year. This means that you'd be ineligible for Student Finance.

It may be worthwhile contacting the university directly as they may be able to advise you on other sources of funding.

    Best wishes,

    John.

    Thanks , John.

I already did e-mailed the university , but they told me to find a sponsor or an organization to fund me in my country .
I guess I have to do some research or I'd have to delay the master for next year till I got enough money.
