Would you date a man that has had sex with another man? watch

I'll just point out that I'm straight, but I was having a conversation about this with my female friends and they all said they wouldn't? I was quite shocked? since I imagine most guys wouldn't care if a girl had intercourse with another women?

Is this really the case and why?

I saw a topic on this recently on TSR and double the amount of girls would not date a bi male than the amount of guys who wouldn't date a bi female

I am curious too as to why so many girls would not date a bi guy

    discrete homophobia?

I'm a bi girl and definitely would! It would have no effect on me whatsoever who they'd previously had sex with (y'know as long as it was legal lmao). Even if I wasn't bi I doubt I'd care tbh. I care more about if they've cheated in the past than the other details of their relationships.

I would. I'm bisexual too. I really don't think it matters, does it?

My boyfriend is bi, I personally, as a girl, do not care at all.

    I won't date such a person. I'll feel insecure.
I respect you guys but it is just how I feel.

In all honesty I probably wouldn't be attracted to a bi guy. It would depend though.
I think it's because so many females label themselves as bisexual/bicurious and it's kind of a given that a lot of girls would happily kiss another girl or enjoy lesbian porn. Therefore not many guys would discriminate as they'd be ruling out large populations of women. Males tend to be less open about this kind of stuff and although some may joke around, a lot of them say they would never kiss a guy (maybe deep down they would?). So to a lot of women it seems there is a smaller population of guys (who aren't obviously gay) that would be into kissing other guys so it's quite easy to discriminate and say you'll only date fully straight guys.
Another thing is that people often come out as bi before coming out as gay so I feel like a lot of women would just assume the guy is too scared to fully come out (even though bisexuality obviously exists). Like I said before, females are more openly bisexual and generally have an easier time coming out anyway, so I think there's less of a concern that the bi girl you're dating might come out as a lesbian.
Also many bi guys are quite metrosexual/effeminate which isn't always that attractive to straight girls. Whereas a lot guys don't seem to be put off by perhaps a slightly more masculine girl.
Like I said, I probably wouldn't want to date a bi guy. A guy can satisfy a bi girl pretty easily, but it's more difficult for a girl to satisfy a bi guy unless you want to use strap ons. I actually personally quite like guys that aren't super masculine, and would also find it quite hot if my boyfriend kissed on of his friends as a joke. But any more than that, I would probably feel like I was just a beard.
Hope I haven't offended anyone with my post. This is just from my personal experiences with my straight and gay/bi friends.

I wouldn’t mind a dating a bi man. Means I can have MMF fun :innocent:

I think one reason why girls stay away from bi men is because of increased competition/insecurity. Normally, a girl would only be afraid of losing her man to another girl, however, if her man is bi, she’ll then have to worry about potentially losing him to a man too.

I might post a longer response to this tomorrow, as I'm on mobile and it's a lot to go through.

Some interesting points made. Some I agree with and others I don't.

As long as they had been safe then of course. It's good practise to get tested in between each sexual partner and as well as for your own health. It would mean I would be able to confidently fill out the form when I give blood

I would! Who they’ve slept with in the past wouldn’t bother me. I don’t see anything wrong with bisexual/bicurious guy. Maybe because I’m bisexual too. But it shouldn’t be a problem for anyone :/
