Sorry for another one of these threads.

I’ve got two weeks of holiday which are free to book in.

    So far I will have:
    Clinical-
    3 weeks SA
    2 weeks SA/LA
    1 week SA/equine/LA
    2 weeks SA/exotics

    Husbandry-
    2 weeks on a beef farm/stables
    2.5 weeks lambing
2-4 days on a pig farm
    1 afternoon on a dairy
2-3 weeks at an animal rescue walking dogs

    Total- 15 weeks

I’m thinking dairy one week, and then some other husbandry placement for the other. And is it worth getting a day in a vet/medical lab? I’m not booking an abattoir as I’ve looked around and none round me take students.

To be honest what you've got so far is great and you've covered all of the bases I normally advise. I would agree that more dairy would be a good idea if you want to use those two weeks up and would suggest maybe doing poultry (or at least an open farm/petting zoo type thing) for the other week.

A lab is great if you can get is and I know a couple of people that got a few days at one prior to vet school

    Good job though!
