Ive applied for Parents Learning Allowance and Childcare Grant as I will have a dependant child when I start in September, however can't complete the application as I don't yet have a name or date of birth as baby isn't born yet, but will be by September!?... the application process doesn't seem to account for people in my situation... I would have liked to have had this all boxed off before I have a baby to deal with... Any advice on how to move forward...??

When you apply for parents learning and childcare grant, we do require evidence before we can approve that funding. This would be a copy of the childs birth certificate and a copy of the tax credits award notice/child benefit letter.
The best way forward here is to apply for your main funding just now (your tuition fee loan and maintenance loan) and when you do have the baby, you can send in the Dependents Grants Form along with the above evidence. This way you can have your main funding approved for when you start and the further funding shortly after.
I hope this information helps and congratulations for when the baby comes!
Kind regards,
John.
