So basically as you know Valentines Day was yesterday.

I don't know about anyone else, but I didn't contact many people yesterday - mainly for fear they would think I was wanting to date/go out for Valentines with them.

Well to cut a story short, nobody text me this Valentines day apart from this girl i'm friends with.

I found it so weird that she would decide to text me on this day, seeing as she hadn't spoken to me/texted me for a week or so. Through the conversation she hinted at going out together alone and getting food at my favourite place (the one she knows I like).

I replied by saying yes and asked her if she only wanted to get food. She said "Yaaaah for now".

Could this have been her way of asking me out on a date, or admitting that I was her Valentine crush??? and what did she mean by "for now". Helppp

Well first of all I don’t think Valentine’s Day is that deep like it’s it’s just an ordinary day in my books. This girl might’ve purposely messaged u on this day because she likes you though. The ‘for now’ part could be like flirty like she wants more with you but hey ho I wouldn’t think about it too much. Go out with her and see if it’s different to how you would hang out before as friends

From what I can see I think she is hinting that she wants to go out with you but if you're still not sure what her message meant then ask her! If she really is asking you out then be honest and tell her you're interested

I'm not very good with advice so I hope this has somewhat helped you out x

Yes she did, maybe she wants to see how the first date goes before moving forward and taking things to the next level

She wants to marry you, have your babies and let you die in her arms.

It depends it kinda sounds like she asked you out but she might have just been bored and knew you didn't have plans too so just wanted to go grab some food.

That's the feeling I get from her message, that she waited for Valentines day to text me, as it was her way of telling me she likes me in that sense.

The "for now" part kind of scared me a little...because of course i'm unsure of her intentions. I did feel it hinted at more flirty stuff...other than just food.

I feel like she has a crush on me but i'm unsure whether she knows I have one back on her. I had been sitting thinking about how I could message her and then decided it would be too awkward on Valentines and a little obvious...looks like she beat me to it. Maybe she was waiting all day to see if I messaged her.

My plan is to meet with her and see how it goes. We have hung out once before and I got the vibes she thought it was a date. Nothing happened romantically, so I felt like it was a test on her part - like, trying to figure out if I could be dating potential? Maybe this time she might be ready to tell me how she feels and take things to another level. What do you think?

Stop over thinking and over analysing everything. Stop taking everything so seriously. Just go for the meal with her and enjoy your food. And then take things from there.

She's planned to meet me in the next couple of weeks. I didn't go out with her on Valentines day itself.
