Ok, so I'm interested in finding out which GCSE you think is the best to take! So I'm going to ask you three questions and if you could give a subject you took at GCSE which most accurately answers the question, and then give the GCSE you think is best! (Please don't include the national compulsory subjects - English Literature, English Language, Maths and Double Science - in your answers. However, if your school has other compulsory subjects e.g. RS, Triple Science, etc you can answer with those)

Do the questions -

1) Which subject did you enjoy the most?
2) Which subject did you get your best grade in/are getting your best grade in?
3) Which subject was the most interesting?

I haven't started my GCSEs yet, and haven't handed in my options form yet, so this will hopefully help a few of you (including myself although I am almost certain about my subjects) to choose!!

An example answer would be

1) Drama
2) Spanish
3) Geography

Overall I thought Spanish was the best subject! (You may want to give a reason here but you don't have to)

Thanks, and I hope some of you learn something helpful from this thread!

Sociology is the study of society and the impact on people, eg why people commit crime, is it peer pressure? Lack of primary socialisation (being brought up with the correct norms and values) there is two units. Unit 1- Family and education (learning about the education system, the impact factors such as low income family, difference in social classes etc has on a child’s educational success) and unit 2- Crime and deviance. Crime and deviance is my favourite as you watch loads of documentaries about crime in youngsters and how it has changed over the last 20 years for example. It is extremely interesting, and next year I’m taking psychology which is sort of the same but looks more on the individual rather than society, just to look at a different perspective, as I didn’t want to get bored of sociology.
