How can I get A* so I could step forward to go to Oxford or Cambridge?

Oxford cares more about GCSEs than Cambridge. Cambridge looks more at A-Levels.

You need to be revising hard - practice papers, mind maps, flash cards, making quizzes, repetition etc. Choose the method best for you. Your social life will have to be toned down a bit - not completely, however just prioritise your work and revision before socialising. Also if you have a part-time job make sure you aren't doing more than 8-10 hours per week and it isn't stopping you from working. If it is, try reducing your hours or quitting.

    Good luck!
