How are Pressure Groups funded?
Some are funded by public subsciption, some by corporate funding, some by government grants, some by undividual(s) foundations and some by mixtures of all the above.

If they are charities there will be restrictions on what funding and activities can be carried out. If they are private bodies, then there will be a lot less accountability and their funding may be more convoluted. E.g some anti-climate change pressure groups may be funded by industry bodies and individuals who may wish to keep their support more covert to avoid public and media scrutiny, especially if they are seeking to appear 'independent'.

Depending on national legislation different levels of transparancy will be required and this may affect funding.
