'Environmental Secular approaches are more helpful than Religious approaches.'

For reference this was a question in a previous RS exam. I'm a bit confused by the word 'helpful'. Is that essentially asking for strengths? Looking at the mark scheme, it says stewardship and dominion could lead to conflicting approaches, so might it mean which approach is easier and more useful?

Now, what would you say is helpful about shallow ecology? Other than being relatively easy to understand, what else can you say?
