What industry is your first job in? for example: Retail? Logistics?

In my industry it isn't all that important to write a good personal statement (if one at all) so I've never had to really worry about it.

But, when I was working part time in Tescos, I did have to write a statement. I included the reasons why I would be suitable for the role. What experience do you have dealing with customers? What makes excellent customer service? Time management skills? things like that.

There are some fairly good online guides to educate you on what you need to put in there.

    Good luck

Just make sure you include what type of person you are; what your achievements are and how they are suitable for your role in the company. Also include your interests and tell them a little bit about you

This isn't the job for you if you don't want to put in the effort to apply for it properly.
