First comes faith and only then will the man of sin be revealed, because we can then see self pride.

    1 Peter 2:21

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Christ was a demonstration by God, of how to find salvation. So what Christ did, we are to follow. Because believing in Jesus Christ is also to do, its twofold. If we want to plant an orchard and we ask an expert how to plant a tree, which he then demonstrates, we don't just believe him that this is the correct way, we 'do' and plant the rest of the trees as demonstrated.

    So what did Christ do?

He left his life in the world behind, got baptised, then walked in to the wilderness alone, demonstrating, to have faith in God for survival and not trust in man or the world for survival. He was demonstrating and replicating what the Hebrews did by leaving Egypt. He was demonstrating what faith truly is.

When Jesus returned from being tempted by the spirit of the world He had no place to rest His head, meaning He had no home. He the gathered His disciples, who also forsook all they had and followed Him. So the disciples demonstrated to follow Jesus by leaving their work, there homes and their families behind. They gave up their other gods to follow the living God. As God Himself says, you can not be my disciple unless you forsake all which you have, because this what it is to have faith in God and not of the world.

    Luke 14:33

So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

When you read the Bible literally you are lead into error. Jesus did not walk into the wilderness empty handed.

Jesus had the Philosopher's Stone, the Elixir Of Life.

This substance provides the body with all the energy it needs so food and water are no longer necessary. This Stone also protects you from the extremes of heat and cold. The energy it provides fuels the body so that it can operate at peak performance, healing itself very rapidly and providing clarity of mind and spirit.

Many Biblical characters had this Stone such as Noah. It allowed them to live many 100s of years.

We must read between the lines and see the great truth that has been hidden purposefully within the Bible as well as the Quran and in the works of most mainstream religions.

The longer people are duped by literal interpretations of the Bible and silly stories the nearer they are to death. They devote their time to blind faith instead of reading the truth and acting upon it.

Jesus himself explicitly tells us to seek this Stone and to understand how it is made.

    KJV, Proverbs 3:13-20:
"Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew."

Here, "wisdom" means the Stone. It provides wealth through the creation of silver and gold from base metals, and it provides health and longevity. The final part which refers to heavens, depths, clouds and dew are cryptic references to the alchemical processes for creating the Stone. The process takes a couple of years and sees a substance in a glass flask putrefy and turn jet black (the Crow or Raven) and then turn WHITE and then ultimately crimson RED. White Stone for health, Red Stone for longevity.

    More confirmation . . . .

    KJV, Song of Solomon 5:10-16:
"My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven."

    More confirmation . . . .

    KJV, Revelation 2:
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it."

The command is clear here. We need to have an ear to hear. Listen carefully. The hidden manna, the food of the Gods, the White Stone.

    Jesus now warns us . . .

    KJV, John 6:53-58:
"Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. . . .

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever."

This is a very stark warning. Unless you have the White Stone (allegorically the flesh) and the Red Stone (allegorically the blood) then you are dead. There is no life in you and you are going to die, to perish.
Only those who actually EAT the White Stone and DRINK the Red Stone (flesh and blood) will have eternal life. Read that again.
So no fantasy belief in miracles and life after death and all the other false religious Billy BS is going to save us. Our only hope is to find the White and Red Stones and eat/drink them. Time is very much of the essence then. We can not afford to waste it and let religion distract us from this great truth.

    More concerning the Stone . . . .

    KJV, Genesis 3:
"And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

The Stone is often referred to as the "Tree Of Life", the "Fountain Of Youth" and many other names. In the beginning man was not to have this thing.

There are numerous other references to the Stone in the Bible and many allegorical descriptions of the process for making it. Those who search will find it.

Jesus clearly had the Stone. It allowed him to heal people, to survive in the wilderness and to survive crucifixion.

The Bible tells us that Jesus implores us to eat and drink of these Stones otherwise we have no life in us.

Can we therefore afford to keep being entranced by the religious spell that seeks to have us believe in fairy stories? Time is running out.

You are personalising a scripture and it's possibly the Rev 2 verse because you've underlined it as "white stone". Then you have built a man made theory for a literal "white stone" by hand picking other verses to house your theory. But you are forgetting that no scripture is of any private interpretation, so what is good for you has to be good for other believers and with a philosophy stone, it is not.

Jesus was a forerunner for an example to follow. He is demonstrating to not to talk the talk but walk the walk - left right left right, one foot, then the other foot, in faith. Walking comes before talking, because otherwise we don't understand what we are talking about if we don't have faith in God. You quoted a proverb and Solomon knows that knowledge is worthless without understanding because understanding is God given. Anyone can hear knowledge, for example that the big bang and evolution are deceptions, but what good is that knowledge if God has not given you the understanding? the knowledge is worthless.

Look at the centurion who asked of Jesus to heal his servant. And then when Jesus came nearer, he sent to Jesus and basically said could Jesus heal the servant where He stood and to not come to his home because he was not worthy, because he orders his servants around. Why did Jesus marvel? Because the centurian not only had faith, knowing that Jesus could heal anybody from anywhere, but also that there was much pride in his house because of his commanding position and he didn't want Jesus to see his pride. Hence why Jesus said that He had not seen so great a faith in all of Judea. The centurian completely got it, he understood.

    Nonsense

I haven't personalised anything at all. There are verses all over the Bible that clearly refer to the Philosopher's Stone, I've just provided a few of them above, ones that are more obvious than others.

None of this is MY theory, nor is it theory at all. There are 100s if not 1000s of documents, scripts, treatises etc of the various Philosopher's and Sages, many from the 1500-1600s. They all explain the Stone and its qualities and how it's made but do so very cryptically. There just happen to be similar references in the Bible, as there are similar references in the Quran and in Taoism and in Rosicrucianism and indeed in most mainstream religious works.

It's there in black and white but you need eyes to see and ears to hear. If you are blinded and deafened from religious programming and take the texts literally then you will never see the truth and forever peddle the same religious nonsense that has been peddled for 100s of years. Nonsense that causes wars and violence and sees people dying day after day rather than being healed and living many a long year.

The truth is that all the main religions refer to the same thing. So actually there should be no animosity between religions, they are all the same, all talking about the Philosopher's Stone. It is only the facile literal interpretations that send people in the wrong direction and cause piety and discord.

Jesus clearly had the Stone, as did Noah and many others. No question at all. It was originally kept in the ark of the covenant.

    Hebrews 9:4-5(KJV)

"and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna"

The corrupt mainstream religions are hiding this truth and instead peddling their systems of control using the age old "Campaign Of Fear" tactic to frighten people into submission. Believe or you will go to hell. Same tactic used by Big Pharma to sell useless flu jabs every year. Have the flu jab or else you could die from horrible strains of flu.
    All utter BS.

Everyone should be told about the Philosopher's Stone and how the Bible is NOT meant to be read or taken literally. We might then all live more peacefully and stop believing in fairy story nonsense.

You would do the same if you had the Stone. You would use it to heal those you loved, as we all would.

Aside from that your view of who/what Jesus is there, is based on that same literal interpretation of the Bible. As such you miss the truth.

For example, eating of the flesh and drinking of the blood. If you are taking that literally then you should be eating flesh and drinking blood.

If you have eyes to see then it's obvious that the "flesh" is allegorically the White Stone and the "blood" is the Red Stone. Really obvious.

The harm is done by those hiding the truth from the general public and those who perpetuate the literal interpretation of the Bible and who thereby condition and control the hearts and minds of weak vulnerable people. That needs to stop.

It is understandable that such people fear the truth, fear its spreading, because it threatens their control, threatens their wealth stream, threatens their power.

Jesus was a remarkable man. He set out to do good but he has been elevated by the religious bodies in order to peddle their system of control.

It's patently clear that the Stone existed and that many biblical characters including Jesus had it.

He used it for good, used it to heal people, used it to save his life after crucifixion. Sadly though he didn't just come clean about it and distribute it to the world. It was kept secret as it always is. Kept by the few whilst the rest suffer illness and death and why? Because they fear that if evil people get hold of it they would use it to gain supreme power and wealth.

News just in. Those evil people already have that power and wealth and are keeping the rest of us in servitude and slavery, ensuring we have short lifespans that are fully exploited at every stage.

That age of man needs to come to an end. Only the revelation of the Stone and its distribution to all will change that.

Peddling religious nonsense will serve only to keep us in the dark ages.

The truth is out there waiting for you should you have eyes and ears to see and hear.

I hope with all my heart that you break out of the spell and find the truth before it is too late to do anything about it.

    Proverbs 3:13-20:
"Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. "

The Tree Of Life (the Stone) is waiting for you to create it or to discover it. May you find it soon.

You've created for yourself an idol. The stone.

Jesus is the bread of life. The wine is in memory of His blood shed for you and me on the cross. We partake in communion to remember His sacrificial love for us. You misinterpret scripture (although tend to follow Catholicism regarding the bread and wine).

The Holy Spirit is the one who reveals the truth of God to mankind.

Please don't worry about a lengthy reply, I just wanted to point this out.

Poor show, a pretty lame diversion.

I haven't created anything. The Stone is right there, referenced in the Bible, over and over and over and the scriptures repeatedly tell you to wake up and understand it and how it is made. I'm simply pointing out what the verses mean and that the literal interpretation of the text is a ridiculous proposition.

No it's the other way around. You have taken a literal view of the text and as a result perpetuate the nonsense peddled by mainstream religion. You clearly fear the truth, which is understandable, because the truth undermines all the control the church has and thus it's power and wealth.

A blind man on a wooden horse can plainly see, once informed, that the Bible is talking to us about the Stone. That Genesis is all about the process for making the Stone, that the "flesh" and "blood" refer to the White Stone and Red Stone.

No idols. No nonsense. Just simple truth written there, hidden in plain sight in The Bible, and in the Quran, and in Taoism and in Rosicrucianism and just about everywhere.

Speak the truth, stop peddling the system of control.

Pilgrim, you are saying to not take the Bible literally, but then are doing so yourself with this white stone business. There is a time for literal and a time for symbolic. Symbolic is spiritual discernment.

The Bible is knowledge when read in works - living of the world, job, home bank account etc. But when we sacrifice these things of the world for faith - living at the mercy of God, then the Bible becomes understanding of the knowledge.

When we live by faith we die to the self, which is dying to self pride, because the world has fallen to self pride. When we are dying to pride we are desperate to hold on to our pride. We don't just have pride in ourselves, we place it in other things, like our homes, our careers our bank accounts (other gods). But ourpride does not transfer in to our home, it remains in us. Our other gods are places in which we can hide our pride. Remember God is judging self pride, every mountain shall be brought low and every valley exulted. Pride was there at the fall of man whereas the law was not, so Cain for instance, was not judged against the law, he was judged unrighteousness because of self pride.

The extent of Pride is hidden from us until we choose to commit to God in living by faith, as Jesus demonstrated and as the Hebrews demonstrated. Pride did not appear until after stubbornness. Eve was stubborn or obstinate to go against the one thing that God told her not to do. You can say she was curious, but the characteristic which made her eat of the tree was stubbornness. And as soon as she turned her back on God, pride surfaced, she could see she was naked and her pride was hurt.

Stubbornness is in our head and neck, stiffnecked, turning our back to God, crossing our arms and stamping our foot, "I know better than you what's good for me blahdy blah."

    Pride is in our chest.

Jelousy or envy is lower still.

All three of these characteristics puff us up, either for what we feel as good or what we feel as bad, but, before God, it's all bad, its iniquity when we feel these feelings for ourselves.

At the point when we have no self pride we want to kill ourselves immediatly, because we are dead to ourself and to the world, as it is a world of pride which we live in. But God does not want us to kill ourselves, He wants us to hide our pride in Him instead, so that when He judges iniquity, we are hidden in Him because He is not going to destroy himself. It's a real change of service, we serve God and no longer ourselves.

    Matthew 13:33

Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Stubbornness Pride and Jealousy is leaven, it puffs up. So therefore we hide it in three measures in God. We are stubborn to give up our gods and stubborn to return to God and stubborn to stay with God.

We are proud of God and of what God has done and will do for us.

We are Jealous 'for' God as Elijah was jealous 'for' God.

No longer for ourselves, but we now remove our iniquity until there is no leaven, then when leaven returns, we hide it in our living God. But we can only understand this after we have given up our other gods, including the god of ourselves and returned back to the one true God in faith.

All Israel will gather, back in our tents in faith at a place prepared, its written. This time it shall be done correctly and God will be with us, because we now have understanding through His Spirit, before God returns for us and takes us to the promised land. It will be done no other way. Faith in God and not in the world.

The rod of God which Moses and Aaron used was symbolic of Gods stubbornness for us his children, because rods or staffs are a tool for stubbornness. We use the staff to keep walking when our ankle hurts or when we are old, it's stubbornness. The serpent which tempted Eve was stubbornness. So when Moses threw the rod of God to the ground before Pharoe, Gods stubbornness ate up all of Pharoe's stubbornness, because God is stubborn for His children, otherwise we would be dead.

Aaron's rod budded. The budding is pride. Because stubbornness comes before pride. Think of a baby. First they cry for milk, they are stubborn. Then as they get older they become exposed to pride, they get kissed a lot and patted on the back, aren't you gorgeous etc etc, pride. After comes jealousy, I want that toy which he's got, or, why is mum hugging my brother and not me. Jealousy.

The pot of manna symbolises faith, it comes because we have faith. So we sacrifice to God our self pride and stubbornness to go against God and exchange it for our stubbornness for God and our pride which we put in God. So we place our faith and our stubbornness and our pride in God.

Therefore, the pot of manna, which is faith, and rod which buds, which is stubbornness and pride, go in to the ark. They go in God which is where they should have been at the beginning forever, but hey, that's stubbornness for you.. Praise God.

The kingdom of God is within, it's all understandable when we are with God and we look within ourselves.

Clean the inside of our cup....

Take the beam from our own eye.....

Within, look within the self. Thoughts and feelings and urges.

Pilgrim, you are saying to not take the Bible literally, but then are doing so yourself with this white stone business.
    False.

I haven't taken anything literally, in fact quite the opposite. I've demonstrated and explained how various passages in the Bible are allegorically and/or cryptically talking about the Philosopher's Stone (Elixir Of Life) and that any literal interpretation of those verse is plainly wrong and leading people astray.

Rumble rumble rumble . . . . the usual monologue about pride from pretty much the most pious and pride filled poster in this forum section
Sorry but I'm just ignoring this repeated pride spiel now. It's a lame attempt to divert people away from the truth I am revealing. An attempt to close down discussion of the Philosopher's Stone and of the folly or taking a literal interpretation of the Bible text.

    (Original post by Drummond)
Eve was stubborn or obstinate to go against the one thing that God told her not to do. You can say she was curious, but the characteristic which made her eat of the tree was stubbornness. And as soon as she turned her back on God, pride surfaced, she could see she was naked and her pride was hurt.
And there you go again. Preaching yet again a literal translation of Genesis which is 100% incorrect. No matter how many times you try this sleight of hand, it's gaining no traction. Genesis is all about the Philosopher's Stone and the alchemical process for making it. It's beyond any reasonable doubt when you know how the Stone is made. Please stop diverting people from the truth, it's wrong to do so.

The Stone is created in a 2 part process. In the second part an egg-shaped flask is used. A salt and a liquid are put inside and the flask itself put into a water or sand bath kept at a constant body like temperature. The salt is allegorically referred to as the "Earth", the liquid which the sages called "Mercury" is allegorically the "water" or "flood". The warm heat causes a vapour to rise up and it condenses at the top of the flask to form droplets which then fall back down onto the salt and the entire cycle starts again. A tiny microcosm that mimics the world we live in. The vapour is allegorically referred to as the "mist" or "spirit", the top of the flask is referred to as the "heavens" and the droplets are the "dew" or "rain".

This is all VERY VERY simple to grasp imo.

Here's a diagram of the flask:

Over time the salt and liquid in the flask rot and putrefy which is a vital part of the process. You have to first unmake something, in order to rebuild it into something else. Taking it back to it's first matter. When this happens the white salt turns a jet BLACK and this point is referred to by the sages as the CROW or RAVEN.

Over more time that blackness turns back to a brilliant WHITE and then ultimately turns a crimson RED.

So the sequence of events is BLACK(Crow/Raven) then WHITE then RED.

The Bible tells us over and over and over about this process but does so using those allegorical terms.

    Some examples:

    KJV, John 12:23-24:
Jesus says "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit."

Again a literal translation here sends you astray. What Jesus is saying and confirming ALLEGORICALLY is that FIRST a thing must die (decompose, putrefy) before it can become something new that is better and brings forth much fruit/benefit.

Now let's look at Genesis which ALLEGORICALLY tells us all about that alchemical flask and the processes inside it, note the allegorical terms underlined:

    KJV, Genesis 2:4-7:

"This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Absolutely no question here. Genesis is ALLEGORICALLY telling us about that egg shaped flask and how the vapour/mist rises and then rains back down. Over time that cycle produces life, the Stone.

It's wrong that the Churches and religions peddle a literal translation and have people believe that Genesis is about the creation of the universe in 7 days and Adam and Eve and all the rest. People have been lied to and duped. They should be told the truth and in the telling of it, people should then realise what the Bible actually is. A work of men, scholars, sages, philosophers who encoded the secrets of the Stone in order to prevent the wrong people getting hold of it.

    More allegorical proof:

    KJV, Song of Solomon 5:10-16:

"My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven."

Taken literally you get nowhere. With understanding of the truth it's child's play to see that this passage recounts the colours of the Stone as it is created, Black (Crow/Raven), White, Red.

Now Jesus himself gives us all a stark ALLEGORICAL warning. He implores us to partake of the Stone, both the White Stone and the Red Stone, the "flesh" and "blood" because if we don't we have no life. Literally the "life energy" that fuels our bodies is going to run out and we WILL die unless we partake of the Stone, which is a huge source of that life-energy.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed."

This is not literal mumbo jumbo about eating Jesus or the holy communion and other nonsense. This is plain and simple an instruction to get hold of and ingest the Stone.

    Some more obvious references:

    KJB, Proverbs 19:12

"The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass."

The dew that drops from the top of the flask leads to the real favour/prize, the Stone.

We could go on and on. Verse after verse in the Bible recounts very clearly the benefits of the Stone and the process for making it. We are warned implicitly that we need it, that we will die without it.

I don't say these things because I desire to push the Stone onto anyone.

I don't say these things to claim that I have the Stone or have seen it

I say these things to demonstrate clearly and irrefutably, that the Bible contains secrets written allegorically and cryptically and that a literal interpretation of the text is both wrong and misleading.

Those who have read the Bible, those who have been brought up as Christians, in a church environment, even those who have become Christians, need to look with new eyes and hear with new ears what the Bible is saying. We need to reappraise the Bible, put aside that which we have been told since childhood, realise that the literal text isn't there to be read as such but is there as padding to conceal the allegorical secrets.

We should know also that those very same secrets are written in the same allegorical way in the Quran and in the Bhagavad Gita and in the works of Taoism and Rosicrucianism and in most ancient religions.

Thereby will we know that in fact, we should all be singing from the same hymn sheet, all focussing on these common secrets, instead of alienating ourselves from each other with piousness born from the false literal interpretation. Christianity vs Islam vs Hinduism vs all the rest. It's an utter nonsense.

The message is common. The message is clear, IF you have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Stop taking the Bible literally. You are robbing yourself of the truth and allowing others to control your heart and mind. You should be free.

We should all be free and in harmony with each other.

Religion is false. It is a system of control, predicated on a false literal interpretation of the various religious texts like the Bible.

Look afresh. See the secrets hidden within and know that they are the real truth.

Pilgrim, why does Jesus say to turn the other cheek if someone hits us? It's because if someone punches us then our pride is hurt, so to regain our pride we want to punch them back, it's instinctive. But God is saying, do not do that, turn the other cheek for them to punch also. This is because He wants us to lose our self pride and to continue losing it rather than regaining it.

When Jesus was telling His disciples that he would suffer many things by the chief priests and scribes and Peter said he would not let that happen. Why did Jesus say to Peter, Get behind me Satan? Peter was not Satan, but Peter had the spirit of pride in him, the spirit of this world. Peter was saying, fear not, nothing will happen to you because I am here, it's pride. He was saying that to God who has come to show us how to lose pride.

Why did Jesus say to wash each other's feet? Because it's an example of things we can do to lower our pride. Nobody wants to wash someone's feet. It is an example of losing pride.

Why do you think that prophets and kings rent their clothes and put ashes and dirt on their heads whenever pride surfaced? Because it was a reaction to lower pride. God wants us to rent our hearts not our clothes, because what ever is done externally comes from the internal. He wants our old hearts gone so He can give us new hearts which have no self pride.

Why wear sackcloth and not suits with ties? Because suits and ties is self pride and therefore against God. Some people might say they are wearing a suit for God, but they have absolutely no understanding of God or of what God wants. God wants sackcloth, because we are not to be concerned with what others might think, only what God thinks.

    More diversionary waffle about pride
Dear oh dear old bean. You are really struggling with this I see. Put aside your fears sir. It's clear that the truth of the Philosopher's Stone has you rattled and trying to divert the discourse at every juncture.

Your reluctance to deal with the issue, reluctance to accept the simple truth and persistence to keep trying to distract just speak of an intense fear to own up to the facts here. Is it because that truth shakes the very foundation of your belief system?

Does or does not Genesis refer to the process for creating the Philosopher's Stone?

Does or does not Proverbs 3: 13-20 refer to the Philosopher's Stone?

Are you so sworn to secrecy that you may not concede the truth?

As for your continued nonsense on pride, perhaps I should ask . . .

Is this "God" who you say wants us to turn the other cheek the very same God who:

    - in Genesis drowns the entire living population of Earth, men, women, children, foetuses, animals etc. Essentially Genocide?

    - in 2 Chroinicles 13:15-18 helps the men of Judah kill 500,000 of their fellow Israelites?

    - in Exodus 12:29 slaughters all Egyptian firstborn children and cattle because their king was stubborn?

    - in Genesis 19:24 basically nukes Sodom and Gomorrah and then kills Lot’s wife?

    - in 2 Kings 2:23-24 has some innocent kids mauled and dismembered by 2 bears just because they teased Elisha and called him "baldy"?

    I could go on . . .

and go on for many pages on the utterly despicable actions and atrocities perpetrated by your God. Genocide, ethnic cleansing, child killing and much much more.

And now you say he expects us to turn the other cheek?

The tragedy here is that your own pride and pious stubbornness prevents you from seeing the utter stupidity of the position you are taking which stems from the incorrect and false literal interpretation of the Bible. Your position is indefensible. God is a killer. A killer of men, women, and even children. His deeds have been abominable.
He is therefore, not perfect, not loving, not faultless and today's world equally demonstrates that he doesn't care a jot about innocent people.

The literal interpretation of the Bible does not hang together, does not hold up to even the most basic scrutiny and analysis, contradicts itself in 100s if not 1000s of places, and creates a wholly untenable position.

No honest and rational human being can take a literal interpretation of these documents.

Now please answer the questions I asked above.
