If you, or the person you just recommended the same thing to predominantly drive the car, then what you're recommending and doing is illegal. It is clear from the other poster's quotes that he is looking to insure himself as a main driver. And no, I said you being a named driver on your parent's policy is fraud, but apparently you're doing something different to this (if you're not - stop what you're doing ayy)

Also out of curiosity who actually owns the BMW?
Beautiful car. But you may regret getting something that nice as your first car as you are a new driver. Maybe something cheap and cheerful, that you don't care about scraping or putting dents in so much, for the first year or so and then upgrade.
