Can you tell me how far the boat club is from the university, and how do first year rowers get there if they dont drive. and what is the novice training session plan. as none of this information is on the boat club website. Thanks

from what i recall from the open day talk on rowing, the boat club is around 20-30min drive from the uni campus.

Non-drivers travel via a combination of minibuses driven by brookes and lift sharing with students who drive

Speaking to the coaches at the open day they suggested a novice plan would be one session/day 6x per week

however all this is only from memory - you could email a coach on the website - they usually respond quickly and are very friendly !
