Hi, just out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone has any experience of the scholarships for shortage subjects. I've applied for one but was just wondering are there any actual benefits other than the extra money and popping it on your CV? This is from the British Council website but to me sounds quite non-committal:

'As a languages teacher training scholar, you will, in addition to the financial support, receive access to mentor support and a range of professional development opportunities and resources.'

    Thanks in advance!

I don't have any experience, but the best people to ask might be your prospective university, as they might have had experience of people using the scholarship system before. It's an extra £2000 tax free, so I'd guess it's worth doing for that reason alone?

I have an interview coming up for maths
    lets see how it goes
i m doing ot just for 2000 extra (holiday
