    AHAs (chemical exfoliants) can help.

The Ordinary sells a a 7% glycolic acid toner and lactic acid serums in concentrations of 5 and 10%. If you've never used AHAs before then start with the 5% lactic acid, probably once every 2-3 days for a week or so. As your skin starts to get used to it you can then build up the use to daily, and eventually move on to the 10% one.

If you do use it make sure you moisturise and wear sunscreen though.

If your scarring is really bad you could go to a professional and have a chemical peel done. They exfoliate deeper than the weak acids I've mentioned above but are therefore more painful, more expensive, and can result in you needing a few days off work whilst your skin is peeling off.
