I don’t even know how to start this....
Anyways , I was born in Spain and move to the uk when I was 11, I tried to change my accent because I wanted to sound British like my friends but instead of sounding British many people say that I sound African. I really hate my accent and in top of that I’m girl with a deep voice sometimes I’m even embarass of talking

I can promise you that you still sound amazing, don't be so harsh on yourself!

Could've been worse and been me with a brummie accent.

Be proud of your roots and don't try and change yourself to fit in!

There are plenty of people in the UK without the British accent (even though there is no ONE British accent due to the various regions); there is nothing wrong with sticking to your own accent

    hey!
don't be embarassed of your accent- be proud you're different! not many people in britain can say they speak a different language, and having an accent shows that off! if, when trying to change your accent, you don't sound how you want to, then maybe it's a sign that you shouldn't, and should instead 'flaunt your accent! x

Congratulations, you have now offended all the people who have an African accent or are from Africa.
