Changing accommodation status

When I applied to UCL through UCAS initially I put down 'live at home' but now I have changed my mind and would like to live out (I have received my offer for my course), preferably in one of the UCL student halls. Does it matter that I entered 'live at home' on UCAS and go ahead and apply for accommodation anyway or do I have to call anyone from UCL/UCAS to change it to live out?

Sorry this is such a late reply! It does not matter what your status is on UCAS - it’s more of a formality than anything else. Once you’ve applied for student finance, maintenance loan etc. you can go on to the university’s website / where ever it is online to apply for accommodation there!
