    Tory's are still tory's , ie,liberal Remainers at heart

they'll only hold off UKip or similar if they deliver a hard Brexit (which is of course what the people voted for)

because 'soft' Brexit doesn't actually exist - it's merely a semantic ploy to try and keep Britain in the EU

So Norwegian and Swiss models were never options?

Think all no voters knew that given the leave campaigns cited them as examples?

You would have to be following politics very closely to see any major leave campaigner say anything that could be interpreted at all as the vote for Leave would be for a Norway or Switzerland model. If someone was following the debate that closely they would overwhelmingly know we were going to leave the Single Market and Customs Union.

UKIP the only party that will do something to stop immigration, what an amazing state our country will be in if they had a couple of seats.
They would be able to hold the government to account and would represent the country in their anti-immigration rhetoric.

Have to say as a Remain Votrr I am dissapointed but not surprised at the dishonesty and frankly stupidity of some of the Remain camp.

It cannot be said in good faith that the brexit vote was not about the single market and the customs union. It was very clear we would be leaving both even if some very minor figures argued otherwise.

There are only three legitimate options for remain voters.

    - Accept it and attempt to make the best of it
    - Argue that the vote was narrow and that there should be some compromise
    - Say the vote was stupid and shouldn’t have been held in the first place (can’t be held by anyone who voted FOR a referendum)
