Hiya. I’m a 14 year old girl and I’m really self conscious about my ears , they’re really prominent and although they’re not big they stick out at virtually a 90 degree angle . I’ve wanted surgery to get them pinned back since I left primary school and people started to point out that they stick out and I got the nickname “dumbo” and it has made me feel so insecure about wearing my hair up for school. My parents cannot afford the surgery , is it possible to have it done on the nhs ?

I don't think the NHS does cosmetic surgery like that.
Just try to ignore it. For me I have a voice so high that I have been mistaken as a women on the phone before but I just ignore it. You can just try covering it with your hair but really I always try to think on it as nothing you can do. It was the way you were born, you didn't choose it so try to move past the comments.

Try to own the comments. If someone tries mocking your ears make a joke about it.
